All About Mrs. Smith
I'm glad you stopped to in to visit the 6th grade site! On this page you will learn a little bit more about me
and my family.
I am the 6th Grade Special Education Inclusion teacher at Chariton Middle School. I received my Bachelor of Art's Degree in Elementary Education from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. I have a K-8 reading endorsement, as well as a K-8 special education endorsement. This is my 13th year of teaching. In the past I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and special education at the elementary and middle school levels. Although this is my first year at the middle school, I recognize many of the faces because I taught my last three years at Van Allen Elementary!
My family and I live in Moulton, Iowa. I am married and we have three children. Olivia is in college and will be graduating in May. Isaac is a Senior and will also be graduating in May! And finally, Elijah who is a second grader.
